Compared to curtains, window blinds and shades offer advantages in terms of price, light control, and cleaning. Moreover, window blinds and shades come in a wide variety of styles and colors, so they are not inferior to curtains in terms of aesthetics. In terms of energy efficiency, the first choice remains honeycomb shades. Their structural design creates an insulating layer that effectively reduces heat transfer. Inside mount and outside mount differ slightly in terms of aesthetics and light blocking. Inside mounts are installed within the window frame and may not completely cover it, thus providing less effective light blocking compared to outside mounts. On the other hand, outside mounts are installed outside the window frame, which not only takes up more space but might also be less sleek and aesthetically pleasing in terms of decoration.
